Cigare Volant is named after the French description for UFOs and is inspired by the civic order of the Mayor of Chateauneuf du Pape that 'no UFO shall be permitted to land in the vineyards of Chateauneuf-du-Pape'. Well that told them didn't it!
Based in Santa Cruz, the heartland of New Age thinking, Bonny Doon Vineyard has a long and unusual history. The winemaker and President-for-Life Randall Graham crafts wines not easily found elsewhere in the Golden State: wines of personality and at times, other worldly charm.
