This was the first buying trip HarperWells organised back in 2006. We were blessed with an array of excellent 05s to taste plus a genuinely exciting mix of previous vintages ranging from the lightweight 01s to the uber-ripe 03s.

Ed Wells was one of 12 British and Irish wine trade professionals selected to attend the prestigious Academie du Champagne program. A week of travel, study and tasting (of course) provided by the 12 Grande Marque houses of Champagne.
