Abbotsdale Swartland Red

Field Blend, Swartland, Western Cape, South Africa, 2014
From only £12.92 per bottle

In Stock Equiv £15.50 (Save £0.00)

This cracking blend of Shiraz (70%) Mourvedre (15%) Cinsault (15%) weighs in at a delicious 13.3% Alc with just 2.8g per litre of Residual Sugar.

Benefiting from a cool climate and new world conditions; increased temperature and reduced rainfall - the grapes are riper and richer developing more intense flavours. As ypu can guess the grapes have been sourced from premium locations, cooled by altitude or by the oceans allowing the grapes to develop intense flavours without getting overcooked.

Unfiltered and unrefined, only natural yeasts. Produced in a way which makes them a true expression of the terroir in which they were created - intensely flavoured with surprising depth and subtlety – the very best of the new world. We like to think of them as having new world flavour with old world complexity.

When this hits our shelves it will have the RRP of £15.50. This is a pre-order, the wines are on the water and due to arrive mid-February so grab yourselves a true January bargain and pick up a dozen for just £155 (£12.92 per bottle)

There are very limited stocks of his Steen (Chenin) Tobias (34% Shiraz, 33% Mourvedre, 33% Cinsault) and his Field Blend (60% Shiraz, 15% Mourvedre, 15% Cinsault, 10% Carignan)
